Every story begins somewhere, ours begins with two people at the heart of it all: Lewis and Margaret, affectionately known as Lou and Dolly. They lived with a quiet appreciation for simplicity, tradition, and the beauty found in everyday things. Their warmth, hospitality, and resourceful spirit continue to inspire everything we do.

Lou & Dolly was created to honour that spirit, to slow down, to appreciate craftsmanship, and to find meaning in the pieces that fill our homes. We curate European antiques and vintage treasures, each carrying its own story of history, character, and charm. Alongside them, our Makers & Merchants Mercantile celebrates the work of local artisans whose creations embody the same care and authenticity that shaped Lou and Dolly’s lives.

We believe the things we surround ourselves with should tell a story, one of heritage, craft, and connection. Whether it’s a 19th-century French confit pot, a weathered farmhouse tool, or a handmade piece from a local maker, each item in our collection has been chosen with intention and love.
